Indo Word: privacy and terms

Privacy notice

What Indo Word keeps

• Your documents, earlier versions, and the people you share them with.

Who can see it

• You, and the people you share a document with (to view or to edit).
• Indo Mail staff do not look at your content, except when you ask us for help, to stop abuse, or when the law requires it.

How long it is kept

• Documents stay until you delete them.
• If you close your Indo Mail account, everything this app keeps is deleted 30 days later (a grace period in case the closure was a mistake or a hacker). Copies in our backups are overwritten within 35 days after that.
• Some records are kept longer only where the law says so, for example invoices (8 years) and sign-in records (1 year). See the Data Retention Policy.

Your choices

• Share, stop sharing, restore an earlier version, or delete a document at any time.
• All of Indo Word's settings are in one place: Indo Word settings.

Where it is kept

• Your data is kept on Indo Mail servers in India. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
• When you ask HexAI for help here, the text needed for that one request is sent to the AI model run for Indo Mail in Mumbai, India. It is not kept by the model and is not used to train AI models.

Questions

Write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@indoemail.in. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your data, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows.

Additional terms

These terms apply when you use Indo Word. They add to the Indo Mail Terms of Service. If the two differ, these terms apply to Indo Word.

• There are no extra rules for this app beyond the Indo Mail Terms of Service.
• We keep improving Indo Word and may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something important, we will tell you in advance where we can.
