How we check

• Every service is tested on its own: sending and receiving email, file storage, translation, maps, notifications, Lily and the Meet call relay.
• A full automatic check runs every day between 2 pm and 3 pm India time. Problems it can fix are fixed then; the rest go to the engineering team.
• The database is backed up every night and a copy is kept in Amazon S3 in Mumbai for 14 days.
