Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective 8 October 2026 · Version 1.0

How to cancel a paid Indo Mail plan or add-on, when you get a refund, how long it takes, and how GST is handled. It repeats section 6 of our Terms of Service in a simpler form; if the two ever differ, the Terms of Service apply.

1. Online checkout

Online checkout is not live yet. Until it launches, paid plans and add-ons are arranged by writing to sales@indoemail.in or billing@indoemail.in. When it launches, payments will be taken by an RBI-authorised payment aggregator.

2. Cancelling

3. When you get a refund

SituationWhat you get
First purchase of a yearly plan, refund asked within 7 days of payment (and the Terms were not broken)A full refund
A paid feature is not provided as describedA refund of the unused part of the period, or a credit if you prefer
The service is unavailable for a long period that makes it substantially unusableA refund of the unused part of the period, or a credit
You were charged twice or charged by mistakeA full refund of the wrong charge
A period already used, or an add-on such as migration already carried outNo refund, unless the law says otherwise
Account ended because you broke the Terms of ServiceNo refund, unless the law requires one

4. How long refunds take

We refund within 7 working days of approving the request, to the original payment method (card, UPI or bank account). Your bank may take a few more days to show it. GST charged on a refunded amount is reversed with a credit note.

5. Price changes and renewals

Plans renew at the end of each period. We email you at least 7 days before a yearly renewal and at least 30 days before any price increase on a plan you have already paid for, so you can cancel first.

6. Complaints

Write to billing@indoemail.in. If you are not satisfied, write to our Grievance Officer, Salena, at grievance@indoemail.in. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 7 days. You may also approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
