How Indo Mail Ads Work

Effective 8 October 2026 · Version 1.0

Why Indo Mail shows ads on free accounts, how an ad is chosen, what advertisers can and cannot see, where ads never appear, and how to switch them off.

1. Why there are ads

Indo Mail is free with 50 GB of storage. Ads on free personal accounts, together with paid plans and business plans, pay for running the service. Paid plans (from ₹99 a month) and every business plan are completely ad-free.

2. Our promise

3. How an ad is chosen

An ad is matched to the place it is shown (for example the top of the inbox list) and to broad signals such as your language and country. Indo Mail does not build an advertising profile of you. Personalised ads based on interests you choose are not offered today; if they are added, they will be off until you switch them on.

4. Where ads appear — and where they never do

Free personal accounts see at most one ad, marked "Sponsored", at the top of the first page of the inbox list. Ads never appear on sign-in, security, settings or payment pages, inside messages, in business accounts or in paid plans. Indo Mail accounts are for people aged 18 and over.

5. No outside trackers

Ads are served from Indo Mail's own servers. The website and apps load no third-party advertising or tracking scripts, pixels or SDKs; our Content Security Policy only allows scripts from Indo Mail itself, and an automated test before every release checks that no page loads code from an outside ad or tracking company.
