Privacy notice

What Indo Meets keeps

• Each meeting's code, title and host, and who joined and when (the attendance list).
• Messages written in the meeting, and captions text when the host turns captions on.
• Polls, Q&A, the whiteboard and breakout rooms are kept only while the meeting is running.
• Team channels: see Indo Teams.

Who can see it

• People in the meeting see your name, video, voice and messages while you are in it.
• The host sees the attendance list and can ask HexAI for a summary, which can be emailed to everyone who joined.
• Indo Mail staff do not look at your content, except when you ask us for help, to stop abuse, or when the law requires it.

How long it is kept

• Meeting messages and captions text are deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Audio and video are never recorded by Indo Mail. When captions are on, short pieces of speech are turned into text on our servers in India and the audio is deleted at once.
• If someone records a meeting on their own device, that recording is theirs to look after.
• If you close your Indo Mail account, everything this app keeps is deleted 30 days later (a grace period in case the closure was a mistake or a hacker). Copies in our backups are overwritten within 35 days after that.
• Some records are kept longer only where the law says so, for example invoices (8 years) and sign-in records (1 year). See the Data Retention Policy.

Your choices

• Join with your camera or microphone off (Settings › Indo Meets).
• Choose which tab Indo Meets opens on: Meetings or Teams.
• Leave a meeting at any time. Only the host can turn captions on or off.
• All of Indo Meets's settings are in one place: Indo Meets settings.

Where it is kept

• Your data is kept on Indo Mail servers in India. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
• When you ask HexAI for help here, the text needed for that one request is sent to the AI model run for Indo Mail in Mumbai, India. It is not kept by the model and is not used to train AI models.

Questions

Write to our Grievance Officer at grievance@indoemail.in. You can also ask to see, correct or delete your data, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 allows.

Additional terms

These terms apply when you use Indo Meets. They add to the Indo Mail Terms of Service. If the two differ, these terms apply to Indo Meets.

• Tell people before you record a meeting or turn on captions, and follow the law where you and they are.
• Hosts are responsible for who they let into their meetings.
• We keep improving Indo Meets and may add, change or remove features. If a change takes away something important, we will tell you in advance where we can.
