The mail, files, photos and backups of Indian accounts are stored in our data centre in Mumbai, India, protected by Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Everything is encrypted in transit with modern TLS and at rest with AES-256. Mail between Indo Mail users is end-to-end encrypted, so only the sender and the receiver can read it.
Lily, our AI assistant, also works inside India and only when you ask. What you send for a request is not stored and is not used to train AI models.
